Suburban Chicago and Baltimore Area Housing Available for Sandy Survivors

Long and short-term housing program for Hurricane Sandy victims who lost their home, job or are waiting for their home to be repaired.

We have long-term and short-term housing for those who lost homes or lost their jobs due to Hurricane Sandy. You do not need to be approved by FEMA to qualify, this is driven by a private effort.

Randallstown for Change, a Maryland-based community organization has acquired homes in South Suburbs of Chicago and in Baltimore County. For those who would like to relocate permanently, this is tied to a larger project which helps with job placement and reorientation services. For those who need a place to stay while their home is repaired, we have housing as well. We are scheduling bussed from the New York/New Jersey area, tentatively on January 4th and other buses later. You can also come out early if there is an immediate need.
