Volunteers Wanted: Video Editing and Transcription for the SandBox Project

Are you an experienced documentarian, film or sound editor, transcription wizard, or web designer?

The Sandy Toolbox project could use your help!

The Sandy Toolbox project is a documentation project which aims to share lessons learned through Occupy Sandy’s volunteer based disaster response. With the ever increasing likelihood of similar climate disasters occuring nationwide, we hope that the project will help inspire other groups to organize in response to disasters, and provide them with resources, advice, and guidance to assist them along the way.

You can check out our first promotional trailer here: http://youtu.be/5EsV0dfIeaQ

The project is in need of a few committed volunteers, with interest and experience in:

  • Filmmaking and Editing
  • Sound Editing
  • Scoring
  • Transcription
  • Web Design

We will provide editing software, camera and recording equipment, and, if desired, a shared workspace.

If you are interested in volunteering, please email us atSandyToolbox@gmail.com. Thank you so much!
